What to expect at drop-off and pick-up

A calm handover helps your dog settle. Here is how drop-off and pick-up work at Barkridge.

Apricot curly-coated dog walking on the turf in the sun at Barkridge Boarding Kennels

When you arrive

Drop-off and pick-up are 8 to 9am and 4 to 5pm every day.
Text us your Google Maps ETA before you arrive.
The kennels are the first building on the left. Please don't drive to the house.
If we're helping another customer, wait outside the kennel, and please don't go in unless invited.

Handing over your dog

Keep your dog on lead from your car to the first exercise run.
We'll greet you and take their belongings.
They go off lead in an outdoor run for a toilet break and a settle.
Then they meet their private kennel. Many regulars are happy to stay out and play first.

Collecting your dog

Send your ETA so we can have your dog ready in the front exercise run.
Any extras, like transport or a bath, are paid before collection.
We'll email your invoice and receipt after collection.
