Where is Barkridge Kennels located?

• We’re in Canning Vale, Perth, Western Australia - offering spacious, shaded and secure kennels for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
   

What services does Barkridge Kennels provide?

• We offer dog boarding, day care and grooming in a safe, professional environment with lots of playtime and care.

Is Barkridge Kennels a local business?

• Yes! Barkridge is a family-run Perth boarding kennel, proudly serving local dog owners across Canning Vale and nearby suburbs.

What are your dog boarding prices?

• Our current prices are $35 for single dogs, $58 for two dogs sharing, and $80 for three dogs.
   

Do you offer daily drop-off and pick-up?

• Yes - we provide daily drop off and pick up options for guests. Price is $60 each way. 

 

Do you board dogs over school holidays?

• Absolutely! We welcome dogs during school holidays, Christmas and long weekends - bookings fill fast, so early reservations are best.

 

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

• Yes, we have a minimum stay policy of 2 nights to help us manage capacity and keep every guest comfortable.

Can my dogs stay together?

• Yes! Dogs from the same family can share a run if suitable - we always make sure they’re safe and happy together.

 

How safe are the kennels at Barkridge?

• Our kennels are fully fenced, secure and shaded, with daily cleaning, fresh water and plenty of staff supervision including 24/7 CCTV.

How often are the dogs exercised?

• All dogs enjoy  playtime in our large grassed yards every day. Dogs are rotated throughout the day pending weather.

 

What if my dog is shy, anxious or older?

• Our team is experienced with all personalities  - we take extra time and care to help nervous or senior dogs feel at ease.

Can I bring my dog’s own food or bedding?

• Yes, you’re welcome to bring your dog’s food, toys or bedding - anything that helps them feel at home. 

Do you offer dog grooming services?

• Yes! We offer baths, tidy-ups and full grooms for boarding guests and outside grooming clients.

Can I book grooming without boarding?

• Definitely - grooming can be booked on its own through our contact page or online.

 

How can I make a booking?

• You can book online through our Barkridge Booking Portal or call us to arrange boarding or grooming.

How do I register for Barkridge’s online system?

• When you register, you’ll receive an email with a link to set your password and log in to your Barkridge account for future bookings.

What are Barkridge Kennels’ opening hours?

• We’re open 7 days 8:00am–9:00am and 4:00pm–5:00pm for pick-up and drop-off. We appreciate if you can give us an exact google time of arrival, this allows us to be fully prepared for when guests are coming and going!

My pet has a special diet, can their needs be accommodated? 

• Yes. If your dog is on a special diet, we recommend bringing their own food with them. We can store food safely (including refrigerated items) and will follow the feeding plan you provide in Kennel Booker, ensuring your pet’s routine is kept consistent. 🐾

Can my dog play with other dogs staying at Barkridge?

• Yes - but only with your permission. 🐾 Our staff will first assess whether the pets are compatible, and if so, we may allow supervised play sessions. Safety is our top priority, so no pets are mixed unless we’re confident they’ll get along.
